I don't know for certain which years Yamaha included the PTMEdge mirrors on, but for certain it came with my Yamaha 2016 242X.
After a couple of years my PTMEdge mirror became harder and harder to tighten down the flip bracket. Finally last year it not only became hard to tighten, but once tightened it wasn't "fixed" and would wobble back and forth - and this became worse and worse over time.
After getting through to the manufacturer, they are currently offering a 50% off a replacement program with free bi-directional shipping - meaning you have to ship the defective one back.
You want to order just the bracket:
In electorbright Silver (as that will match the mirror that you already have and will keep - attaching it to the new bracket.)
The new bracket is WAY better!!! No screw down anymore - just a spring loaded pin.

I used their online chat feature to get the refund code - which they need to add to your order to send the refund once the return makes it back.
