Up here in the great white north we have cottages and lakes too ... and of course winter.

There is a local magazine called "Cottage Life"... a very popular resource. In the last couple of years they have produced Cottage Life Television for the viewing public. One of their programs follows a couple of designers into cottage country during renovations on a cottage they purchased.

This episode features a Scarab boat... I'm not familiar with the models, but the sales guy took these two for a memorable ride... starts at the beginning of the episode, just after all their preamble about the reno.

The production is half CBC which is taxpayer funded. I have seen similar issues with streaming BBC content. It is free for the countries citizens who funded it but they want the rest of the world to pay.
 
Just saw the video. Its a 215 HO Impulse with what looks to be the twin 250hp jets. Its pretty sick to see them finally doing some fun stuff with it instead of all this test this and that. Looks like Benneteu sponsored the segment because they showed their pontoon boat as well as some Glastron boats.

www.privateinternetaccess.com. Not only does it protect you online with encrypted tunnels, you can spoof your IP to look like you're wherever you want. Well worth the ~35.00 a year for 5 computers. I just told it to connect in Toronto and boom..no problem. But I do have a hankering for some maple syrup eh.

Will that scarab really do 60mph?
 
@Big Shasta The 215 with the twin 250's will get up there close to 60 unofficially. We had one going 58 by the GPS speedo in the intracoastal last year. If I didnt have so much work done on my 195, I would so trade up. The 215, and the 165 with the 250's are the fastest Scarabs.
