My view for the past few days. I'm not going to post a pic on my stomach so y'all can keep down your dinner lol but I had inguinal hernia repair surgery on Thursday and of course as my luck would have it just before spring season :/. Here's to hoping I can get out on the water in a few weeks!

This was always on my bucket list. Quail Hunting at a world class lodge. Just got back from Wynfield Plantation in GA. Watching these dogs work the fields was incredible!

You get back out there and double down....You can recover from this.

I don't know how they pay for all those lights when so many winners are made.

Bedtime and down $2500... why is the sun coming up as I am going to bed ???IMG_0818.JPG

Having issues filling my boat lately. So checked vent line was great. Here is my fuel fill hose and why ethanol sucks. Ate up the fuel line. On my Tidewater fuel fill is starboard of console and comes to a bend at the deck and goes to fuel tank. This rot was at the bend. So off to buy a new hose tomorrow or Tuesday. The normal size is at the top and at then it turns into a wet noodle ugh.

Update from Feb. 3, I finally connected the Variable Speed Frequency Drive to the vacuum pump motor and turned on for testing for leaks on Feb. 17. The weather warmed up and sap started running Sat. the 18th. Temps, were near or above record highs. That sap run lasted 8 days and I collected over 20,000 gallons. The temps. went back down yesterday and stopped the run. A few pics, of what I saw.20170221_204922_001.jpgSap coming thru thru the extractor,20170221_204808.jpgfilling a 1000 gal tank until the float switch kicks on a transfer pump to the 4000 gal. tanks20170219_093643.jpgThe system works great, now I need to find all the tiny vacuum leaks to get from current 22" to 27+". Here is one kind of leak, most probably from a curious deer. Found a dozen other non animal related leaks, all part of testing/tuning.20170223_094243.jpgCome On Spring!

This came across my FB feed today and couldn't pass on sharing this beauty shot!

IMG_6901.JPG My truck was getting jealous that I always take the boat to the beach, so I took him out to put his toes in the sand

@Murf'n'surf it is a 3 mile trial at Fort Fisher. The weight of the Tundra and the depth of the sand was not a good combo. Also bringing the boat to the beach is a lot less cleanup afterwards.
