On the same dog walk I noticed that my neighbor's boat trailer (that holds a 20' Boston whaler) has a Fulton folding tongue connectors. I don't know how well they work but am sure they look a lot beefier than the setup on my 2010 mfi trailer.

It works really well and it's very solid. It's made of steel so it's heavy. It's designed for 4 bikes and we've only put a max of three on. It's the only rack that I could find that would hold more then two bikes and is designed for the square rv bumper. I found it at an rv supply store. I want to say it's Camco brand, but I could be wrong. I know it's a rv specific brand though.Pearce,
