I am running out of woodworking projects for the Beneteau. I don't really need this for the Yamaha, as we usually board from the Stern. But these will be useful when getting on/off the sailboat. Folding Teak Dock Step

I am going to reverse engineer these steps and make a set from Black Cherry.

Impulse buy from Home Depot: the new high pressure/high volume air pump by Ryobi. $30ish excludes battery and charger. Pictured with the first version it is replacing. I think I paid $50 for it. I suspect the plastic hose will deteriorate first like the hose on my first pump did. I like that it’s a little thinner although also taller.

My kids seem to be enjoying their new (temporary) housing, in rural MO settings!

Social distancing observed, w/full disclaimer: newborn piglet appears corona negative, but it has not been tested

Mmmmmmmm...BACON! I love pigs, they are so smart and tasty.

P.S. What is up with the three bay sink and the yard hydrant?

No idea! Lolol
I’m told she was just visiting with a neighbor. From what I hear he is an interesting guy. Super helpful, too.

Made some jigs for the router. They let me make the same 1/4" mortise and tenon joint more than once. I know I could have bought one for $100, but no stimulous check yet and I did not want to wait. They don't look very useful, but...

And some that I have finished on the first jig.

This is my method of joining the pieces together with epoxy to make the panels. Hinges hold the panels together to make the folding dock steps I posted about above.

School is out for the rest of the week there in MO, even the online schooology...

Thank God, we are fortunate to have grandma come to the rescue!
Sewing class in session, lol.

I'd say my truck kicked the crap out of the Robin that kept seeing it's reflection as an intruder.

Little chilly but the season started today, the wife and the youngest had a good snuggle. Hit a solid 44mph with a full tank of gas and 5 people aboard.

Just needs to warm up a little!

Decided to buy a portable basketball hoop for my son and I last night and found all stores sold out, they are even hard to find used on Craigslist, online orders are subject to delivery dates in May. Got this one for free from a neighbor I didn’t meet until this morning as I walked my dog by her house. She wouldn’t take any money for it, just glad to be rid of it I guess. The backboard is smaller than we prefer but it’s still considered Corona virus treasure to my son and I.

The current price of super unleaded here at Costco in N.Cal. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it this inexpensive.

If I didn’t fill my boat up before the off season I would consider hooking it up to fill it up now.
