No, it’s a gas/elect hybrid. Basically a Prius in a RAV-4 awd platform.
Its really a camry hybrid platform with the new 2.5 liter 4cyl and an electric rear diff. Its a real dependable platform.
The prius has a 1.8 liter 4cyl with no awd option

I just usually tell people the Prius due to 99% of people knowing how they function. A lot of them don’t even know that you can get a hybrid it a different platform.
The only real thing that I know about this vehicle is what the wife wanted it, & she went out and got it. Perfect timing as far as I’m concerned.

Spent the evening on a friends catamaran at his mooring in Burlington Harbor. His mooring is about 100yards from our slip and we took the dinghy over. The first concert on the waterfront in a couple of years. The crowd welcomed George Clinton as the headliner at Friday nights 2022 Burlington Discover Jazz Festival at Waterfront Park. Party goers on the catamaran were having a blast in the background doing "The Bump".

Did ferry a bunch of people back and forth to shore and our boat nearby throughout the evening.

Almost every toyota is offered in hybrid now.
The Venza, Prius, and Sienna are only hybrid, while camry, rav4, corolla, highlander, avalon, and soon Tundra are optional hybrid. Only the taco and 4runner no option but soon with model changes will be hybrid options. Our complete line up will be hybrid optional in a few years and the talk is by 2030 all hybrid only

In Egg Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin for the weekend. Unfortunately, cold and rainy. Highlight for me, spotted (what I believe is) a Nordhavn 55. Very rare in these parts. Apologies for crappy photo - shot from across the bay, with my phone, in a steady rain.

Spent the afternoon and night on the boat. Put up the cockpit shades to keep them cooler. Cabin shades are always on.

Those sun shades work really well, even when not fully installed.

Wife first looked at a Kia EV6 earlier this year and then tried a Toyota Rav4 Prime. She has been on a list for months waiting for a call.

At Ferry Dock Marina, 1/4 mile South of our slip.

I can do now (got the grinder for the Kitchen Aid last year) What is your recipe?
I’ve tried different mixes mostly from PS seasonings with good luck. This time I’m using a High Mountain kit from our local farm store.

Sunset from the cockpit. Traffic coming and going. Charter "Red Swan" coming in, @Julian knows that sailboat on the left, USCG going out.

Plenty of different seasonings here for anything that you may want. I prefer the #278 Jalapeno mix for brats with some hi-temp cheese mixed in.
