I could rub it in with more pictures, but I won’t, out of respect for your circumstances.
That rainbow ring around the sun was pretty cool looking thru polarized lenses. Glad the camera picked it up. Ya, we played hooky for a few hours today. Sitting here in the cockpit having an apre sailing COLD beer.
Oh, sorry, I said I would not rub it in. Oops.

@BigN8, I appologize for the loose leech seen near the top. I had not let the topping lift out yet, I had to get the picture first, which held the boom up and without pulling down on the boomvang, that kept the leech from being taught. Sail trim talk... ⛵

We raise our boom with the topping lift while in the slip for headroom and to keep the sailcover from rubbing on the dodger. Canvas will chaffe. You can see in the signature picture below that the flaked sail rests on the dodger.

Plenty of different seasonings here for anything that you may want. I prefer the #278 Jalapeno mix for brats with some hi-temp cheese mixed in.

Good tip. There is a store near me that stocks PS, I’ll have to check it out. Brats sound reasonably easy. Definitely need to move us to kielbasa.

Do you have a sausage stuffer? If not I’d get one. The attachment that go on the grinder are ok but you’ve got a lot more control with a press. I’ve got a 15lb LEM press similar to this.

I can do now (got the grinder for the Kitchen Aid last year) What is your recipe?

If you like the process and get into it, you're going to find yourself quickly outgrowing that attachment.

Head over to smokingmeatforums.com and try to avoid spending days over there ?

This would be the first time. I thought I had the attachment for the KitchenAid mixer, but I don’t.

My brother is good for unnecessary kitchen gadgets, I’ll have to see what he has.

I've got the stuffer from KitchenAid and with the auger moving things along like with the grind process, you have to keep an eye on your temp as it adds a pretty good amount of friction heat.

The one that @Babin Farms has, or one like it, is the way to go for sure.

Good to know. Do you have the metal or plastic one? I’ve heard the plastic one is total crap, and the metal one good, but isn’t perfect.

We have the plastic one. Never used the metal one. But, from what I know about the plastic one, what you've heard about the two doesn't come as a surprise.
