Cleaning my place up. All of the firewood was sold and a majority of the logs(3 tandem loads) were given to a friend. The rest was put in a burn pile and will probably burn for a couple days. View attachment 191523View attachment 191525
All of the cattle and goats are gone so it was time to spread the last few loads of manure and take down all of the coral panels and cattle equipment.

Something weird about hanging Christmas lights on the house in 85 degree weather.

Since I only decorate the golf cart I leave the lights up all year long... :winkingthumbsup" the water was is 83 deg yesterday... perfect for deep frying a couple turkeys and having a pot luck dinner for 30 of your friends (some of which I've known for 10 years and still dont know their real name) and another 30 or so that you never met before and giving everyone leftovers to take home... on an island in the Florida straits ... I remember when the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) published an article about the high levels of Mercury in Lake Erie walleye about 20ish years ago. The charter industry dropped that year due to the public’s concern. What they didn’t tell you is they ground the entire fish i.e. scales, fins, bones. There was enough skepticism the article was revised to say that consuming large amounts of any fish poses the risk of higher levels of Mercury, but the fish fillet that you eat has the acceptable amount mercury per the FDA.
