I’ve seen this backboard before but this is the first time I’ve seen it mounted.

This morning I reorganized my keys (fours cars, two Waverunners, one boat, house and countless receiver and misc. locks), it took a lot longer than I anticipated.

Didn’t go to any of the theme parks in Orlando on this trip but did spend time at Disney Springs…….

And Universal City Walk…..

Disney Springs is nice and the free parking garages make me feel like a winner when I go. City Walk is also very nice, but the $20 parking makes me second guess it. If you get a chance, check out Icon Park. That’s where the Orlando Eye is and Gordon Ramsay’s Fish and Chips.

Sea trialed a 36’ catamaran today down in Mass. Powered by twin Yamahas.

No, the scale is correct. Twin 9.9 long shaft, high thrust Yamaha OB’s push this cat to 7.4kts. Faster than our Beneteau with a 28hp diesel.

Speed in lower left corner.

She may be a new to us project boat. Got a good look at her today.

We took the free shuttle from the hotel to/from Universal so we didn’t have to deal with the parking fee.

Not sure I’ve heard of Icon Park - we will look into that.

@Coult45 What are your camera settings for the hummingbird pictures?

Mostly I had the shutter speed at 1/4000 and left the iso on auto, where it stayed in the 3200 range. My lens is an 800mm prime with a fixed aperture of f11, so I need a lot of light.

One of the great things about those 9.9’s is that when the time comes, they are much easier AND cheaper to replace than an inboard diesel! :)

I agree with that. They are 2018’s that we’re just serviced under warranty. One motor broke a valve spring on the way back from the Bahamas in March. They ran good on the sea trial. The surveyor said he had just surveyed a 97 PDQ with diesels and said it would be. PITA to swap those out. The diesels have sea drives where the OB’s can be electrically tilted up out of the water for less drag while under sail.
