Starved Rock to Peoria Run...Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015

Bah, fishing wires is horrid in this tower!
Doesn't help they forgot to drill one of the holes. Still don't know where/how I am going to run the tower light wires.
Vacuum isn't pulling yarn or string or twine through which is very frustrating.

Hitting the road in a few staying in Ottawa tonight.

See you guys at the ramp in the morning.

Staying in Ottawa too tonight much needed break from the kids. Wife and I will see everyone tomorrow bright and early

Sounds like Bartons are not going to make it due to a child with health concerns.
See you guys in the morning. It is going to be a great day.

Sorry to say that we will not be able to make it down today. Started getting sick yesterday and just not up for the long day. Have a great time everyone! @OperationROL

Half my party in the truck... I guess I am the only morning person of my family.
Lol
Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

A rough start for Perfect Heaven II at the launch but we are enjoying every minute now. The dealer attempted to fix our fresh water sprayer. One of the things they tried was replacing the entire wiring harness that runs the full length of the boat. To do so, they must have taken the throttles out and put them back in backwards. We didnt know that until we launched the boat of course and when Neil went to back off the trailer it flew forward as he moved the throttles backwards. Thankfully no harm or damage was done that we can see at least, but it could have been worse. Neil figured out what it was and quickly fixed it and we off. We love our boating family. Such an amazing support system. Thank you to all! @OperationROL

Below is a picture of the throttles. Yamaha even made it easy by printing an "F" for forward on them. Maybe the techs should pay attention better:

Happy to hear nobody was hurt. That could have been very serious!

Great pix. Have a great day!

I think the F stands for Full Reverse...

Great pics!

JCampbell and I stood on top of the ramp and were surprised to see the 'usually proficient' OperationROL struggle to launch. We were able to see far more humor in this than the captain.:)

Once he got on the water he settled down.
