Was looking for an SX240 as it seems to fit the needs of my family at a fair cost. Dealer doesn’t have any and wants to cut me a deal on a Limited S. Was on the Yamaha website but honestly it doesn’t have a compare tool that I can see.

What’s the differences between an Sx240 and 242 Limited S? Besides the tower (that I don’t care about) I can’t see that many, help me out guys! Thanks

The main differences I know off the top of my head are:
  • The tower (if you have kids you will want this)
  • 12" Connext Screen at the helm
  • Snap in Seadek equivalent rather than carpeting
  • Freshwater shower at the stern (really useful if you boat in salt water)

Not sure about these...so check:
  • The upholstery may be a premium fabric
  • May have a spare tire on the trailer (SX may too)
  • May have extra speakers on the stern (and speakers may be upgraded from Polks to Wetsounds)
