The official "What did you do to your jet boat today" thread.

Spent the day in the rain moving boat in and out of garage as it had to be redesigned to fit boat and leave room.

It now fits with millimeters to spare. Pushed it as far as I could to one side with out having to take shelves down.

Going to have to find way to hang bikes from ceiling again and not hit boat or make it a mission to get them up and down

Only thing i couldnt fit again me my 2000 warrior.
I feel bad is has to be outside after I replaced everything front to back during quarantine.

More things to come

1.5 yards marine vinyl, 1 yard felt, 1 sheet of exterior plywood, 3/4", 2.5" thick foam, 2' by 3' is all you need. Staple gun, paint, 1" screws

I measured the spot for the base of plywood to mount where the filler cushions rest, traced the rounded corners, cut it into 2 pieces so they can be stored in boat. Sanded and painted for protection, then felted one side folding over and stapled. See pics. This protects the boat from being scratched. Then I cut wood that the foam rests on, to fit between cushions so it's not as wide as base. I cut foam to match. I folded it over and stapled it. Then I screwed the cushion base onto the felted board. So each seat is 2 plywood thickness. They secure very nicely. I can try to get a video of the seats tomorrow if it helps. I have $90 in material and still have enough to make a back rest or spare seat.
Yes!
This is a solid mod!

Finally put tower back on for this season!
Heading out to find a buffer. May be time for graphics removal as well!
Fired right up but didn't get to oil change just yet.15904119219472656550419727247947.jpg

Rewarded with a bonfire. Well... a smoke pit i guess20200525_185602.jpg

Took all day in the rain. But no more black dust.
Used scrapper edge to help peel back as much of old mat I could but it was manual labor intensive nevertheless.

Also, took time to get into rear compartment and cleaned bilge.

Anyone have cockpit and rear sea deck for 2014 SX 190 they haven't installed yet?

Need to remove snaps from floor and fill holes while I decide BT or Sea deck.

Has anyone taken carpet from under storage compartments and turfed it?

I've seen plenty of the high end wake boats that have turf in their storage bins rather than carpet. I thought about doing the same thing! Buy a big roll of the stuff and go at it.

I've done the rub rails on my ski's and front compartment

My have to wait for Black Friday sale and buy sheets from WCSS.
By chane were you in sesdoofourm. There was a member with same name that went to dark side years ago

Installed my Hydrophase! Need to clean up the wiring (forgot my roll of velcro at home). Works well, but it does take some getting used to. Like when I was WOT and hit the power button... down to 20 MPH we went.

Yup, that's me. I still have my XP 800, slightly different than when I was on there I believe (high compression head, UMI steering, single gauge hood, skat trak prop, extended pump, racing sponsons, etc). I hop on SDF from time to time, but so little time now a days.

Stop!
You would have MattB drooling.

My SDF screen name is ocod.
Very Cool. I wonder who else as made jump.

So today I got to install my BeltBuckles. I didn’t like the location of the existing holes for the factory straps by the tail lights; the angle would be too severe. So I mounted them directly to the frame. Didn’t see any posts that detailed this so here we go.

Because every post is better with pictures.

Replaced the front straps on the anti-pooling kit for my cover.

The front ones were dry rotted and one snapped while I was putting it on a few weeks ago.

$23 for polypropylene webbing and buckles. I should have enough left to replace the rear straps when they need it.

Yeah i did.
What caught my attention way avatar.

Added Cobra steering and fangs, noticed an immediate difference in low speed control! Also cleaned up my wiring from last week's fuse box/whole boat LED install and added a wake tower flag holder.
