Replaced the front straps on the anti-pooling kit for my cover.

The front ones were dry rotted and one snapped while I was putting it on a few weeks ago.

$23 for polypropylene webbing and buckles. I should have enough left to replace the rear straps when they need it.

Put on Cobra Jet Steering today. Cant wait to test it out. Was a fairly simple install and they even came with blue lock tight stuff which was nice, saved me a trip out. Instructions were very detailed and straight forward. I watched YouTube video ahead of time too.

Heck of a day today. Major organization updates today.

Homemade phone/cup holder on port side.

Install table mount brackets in head storage compartment

Velcro pockets under starboard seat

Replace adjustable phone holder with a ram mount - planning to use a iPad Mini for Navionics

Since the ramps were such a shit show yesterday we decided not to brave them today. It was time to get the boat really cleaned up anyways. Didn't realize just how dirty my mats were until I got them cleaned, aside from the obvious stains. They're almost a totally different color. After they dried I treated them really well with 303 fabric guard as well as the swim platform mats got a solid cleaning then treated. Boat got it's normal wash after being used, but the interior got the deep cleaning today. Seats were also wiped down and treated as usual per every usage. Floors got a good scrubbing once I took the mats out. All kinds of nastiness under there from my boat sitting out at the dealer prior to me purchasing it. Also don't worry that tag was discovered shortly after this pic and tucked back under. Just scrolling by the pic and seeing it annoys me. LOL!

Thanks. I just ordered five from great lakes skipper.com for about $20 including shipping.

FYI - The 2” version is not currently available on Amazon and I couldn’t find anything even close to 2” on McMaster Carr’s site.
@Ronnie I read this the other day and was like... "5? - that's a weird number to order".

Having installed mine today, and breaking 1... leaving me 1 short. It makes all sorts of sense now. Lol!

I just ordered 3 more. (1 to replace the one that I broke, and 2 to keep on the shelf just in case)

I purchased 4 of these because they came in a set of 4
64563EF6-4DC7-416A-AC4E-9042E7F9E649.jpeg
but I only needed 1.

Finally, after over a decade I have a good location for my telescoping hook.

Now I just need to remember to use it when I need it. Usually to recover a hat that blew out while underway but I could see using this to help dock as well.

Nice! Where did you get those clamps? Or can you send me one of your spares?

Started and completed an upgrade/update today.
Added 3” sound absorbing foam to the rear and side walls of the engine compartment.
Simple in theory, just measurecut and glue.
In my case I relied on measurements for the rear wall foam and made paper templates for the side wall foam.
I will put the finishing touches on it tomorrow.

Looks great, what glue did you use? This is going to be my next project. Thanks

3M 90 spray on adhesive. Between $10 and $15 per can at Home Depot.

I decided to make my own 2 piece bow filler cushions. They don't look mint, I'll redo when they wear out, but I have around $90 in material and a few hours of time. Better then the $600 a dealer would charge. I have enough wood and foam to remake one and do a back rest like the 210s and above have. Base is felted to prevent scratches and double layer 3/4 painted plywood. No sewing either, just fold and staple.
Great job! Could you go into detail on the materials you used and the process?

1.5 yards marine vinyl, 1 yard felt, 1 sheet of exterior plywood, 3/4", 2.5" thick foam, 2' by 3' is all you need. Staple gun, paint, 1" screws

I measured the spot for the base of plywood to mount where the filler cushions rest, traced the rounded corners, cut it into 2 pieces so they can be stored in boat. Sanded and painted for protection, then felted one side folding over and stapled. See pics. This protects the boat from being scratched. Then I cut wood that the foam rests on, to fit between cushions so it's not as wide as base. I cut foam to match. I folded it over and stapled it. Then I screwed the cushion base onto the felted board. So each seat is 2 plywood thickness. They secure very nicely. I can try to get a video of the seats tomorrow if it helps. I have $90 in material and still have enough to make a back rest or spare seat.

Thanx but my color is off lol. Bought the vinyl before I picked up the boat. They look good enough and work great! $90 and some time is better then $600!
