The official "What did you do to your jet boat today" thread.

Sat at my local BMV for the last hour and a half registering my new boat and trailer... seriously Indiana could you come up with any more fees and taxes!!

Was able to get out to where my boat is stored last week and work on some Mods. Installed paper towel holder, head closet shelf, and side pockets, and made a swim platform table bracket cover. I also put the batteries back in and spent some quality time sitting in the boat listening to some tunes and having an adult beverage or two. Can't wait for summer!image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

What is that in the second to last pic, mounted beside the speaker?

Yep, always bevel any hole you cut in fiberglass...it will splinter, spider crack, chip, etc. Screw holes especially.

That is the biggest roll of toilet paper I have ever seen! I told my wife she needs to start rubbing toilet paper between her tits. She asked why? I said do you not see what it did to your ass? I should get her to rub this size between her tits!

That is a cover for the table mount. Have had problems with it getting super hot and also reflecting the sun and damaging the Sea Dek. I want to get a Yamaha sticker to put on it.

I hope my stereo installers did that.

Yesterday I installed a Sony Marine Sub to match my Sony speakers and amp. It made a big difference to the sound quality.

A couple weeks ago I installed hydro turf on the walk through part of the engine cover and the little pieces on the sides of the swim platform. They are going to be great for when wet and perhaps a little tipsy.

Before.

After.

What is the black plate on the swim platform on the opposite side from the table mount? I see they moved the location of the table mount as well.

yep, just had our 23rd on monday the 23rd, she is a great sport about my sick humor.

That's great Jeb! Congrats to you and the Mrs.

@Huskerjetboat Great work! You might want to find a way to secure the paper towels from unraveling. I have a holder on my door as well and the whole thing unravels into the compartment when underway. It also gets wet in there (dont know how) so it ends up ruining the paper towels.

Maybe an elastic headband or something to put around the towel roll when not in use? They are like giant rubber bands covered in fabric, my fiance leaves them everywhere!

@Huskerjetboat That black thing opposite the table mount is the remote stereo unit. It is the new Polk Audio system with a rubber cover that I am sure will fall off someday.

I sure hope that new polk system is water proof, because it will sure be under water with enough ballast.

Even without ballast that spot gets wet. That lower swim area on the 2015 24s takes a lot of water. At least with the way I have been driving mine around anyway.

I've already noticed some moisture behind my screen on mine, so I imagine I will have a warranty item before too long.

Reinstalled TV XLs, finished SeaDek and tossed in a pair of mid cabin speakers. Cheap old Polk DBs that sound fantastic! (should we have a JL vs Polk debate again??) Anyway, I hooked the fronts back up to the head unit and am picking up an amp volume knob to help level the cabin speakers amp with the HU fronts when I want to.IMG_0991.JPGIMG_0994.jpgIMG_0995.jpgIMG_0997.jpg

I really like the navisafe light!!! How did you attach it up there?

@jawsf16 - looks great. That Navisafe Light - that's the magnetic version right? What do u think of it? Is is truly bright enough to use as a nav light?

I haven't used it yet. The bracket just drops right on the tow point and then you use the magnets to remove the light. I got the bracket from @jeremy0011 and the light from Amazon. I will give some feedback once I get a chance to use it.

The paper towel holder I used has a ratchet system so it won't just unroll from wind, you have to pull it with a little force to unroll.
