I agree on the first hole cut trophy [USERGROUP=3]@Administrative[/USERGROUP] Either way great job on your cuts!Cut my first holes in the boat today. There should be trophy points for "first hole cut in boat"
It was a very good weekend, 75 degrees in Pittsburgh and no responsibilities...
Added a hatch, found a 13x20 that's a great fit on the sx192. I got a bunch more pics, going to do a thread on the install

Had a very old oil filter stuck, so I decided to get rid of the original air filter box. No performance gain, I just like the look. Plus, I was able to reach the oil filter easier and got it unstuck, and oil changed

Cut a hole for second bilge pump outlet. Still trying to figure out how to get the new bilge pump situated in the bilge area, but got this knocked out while weather is still good

Hopefully fixed the dreaded throttle drop, have to wait until spring to know for sure. I decided to muscle the gap closed with pliers, instead of sticking something in there

Your killing me with all those negatives piled up and that nut only half threaded...hahaIt was driving me nuts, so I had to go back and move some of those negatives to the second battery, and clean up some of the wire arrangement.
Maybe not as pretty as a bus bar, but it’ll do.

You should add a negative bus bar. (and a +) That nut on the battery is only grabbing about 2 threads. Leaves you more room for additions.Added a Perko switch & a maintenance free deep cycle/house battery (for anchoring). Went the basic/cheap route, as I hope to trade up in a year or two…assuming it makes sense, & the world hasn’t imploded.View attachment 190092View attachment 190093View attachment 190094View attachment 190095View attachment 190096

I have the same one on my boat. It is great, but the buttons are very sensitive. We are constantly changing the channel or source with feet and butts.well yesterday I ran it like I stole it, too the long way around and ran thru some 2-3' chop at 30 mph and it was rock stable... moving the fuel cell forward and low on the centerline was a great trade off in speed for stability... installed the second Kicker 10" sub, retuned the amp gains... ran the new sound set up all day (7 hours never moved the volt meter on the house batteries) and got shamed into ordering a remote for the swim deck so TODAY I ordered a JVC RM-RK62M Wired Remote Control for Marine Receivers $72 and hey I haven't bit the bullet and went NEMA 2000...

good to know.. i haven't chose a mounting location yet maybe a plexi cover or some sort of raised guard or slight recessed... i could easily see a cup holder turned sideways as a way to recess it...I have the same one on my boat. Good Idea! Ours is in the location of the original, so it is easily reached as well as accidently sat on while drinking on the swim platform.good to know.. i haven't chose a mounting location yet maybe a plexi cover or some sort of raised guard or slight recessed... i could easily see a cup holder turned sideways as a way to recess it...
yea my boat had the OEM remote in the drivers area under the throttle/shifter controls... that has long since been replaced with a 20A Aux electrical panel that has switches and breakers for the radar and spots/flood lighting and the aux bilge pump switch... so I'll drink it over a bit and come up with something...Good Idea!
