Very nice wheels. And that deck looks familiar... :) Love it, too.

Nothing very elaborate. I ordered oil filters and iridium plugs from Amazon. It's not much but at least they are moves aimed at putting the boat in the water ASAP.

I also bought one of these http://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCo...p/B010N8YM2U/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8 which will replace my much larger and heavier jump box. The Anker (they make great products) fits in my "boat bag" which I carry onto and off of the boat for each trip to the lake.

Installed the snap on bow cover yesterday! Let's go big water!

I changed the left brake caliper on the trailer. It was causing the hub to get so hot the wheel bearing grease would expand and blow the Bering Buddy cap off. Now I'll pick up another caliper as a spare.

The boat has been nearly flawless since I bought it used in 2009. It's the trailer that constantly needs attention.

I just replaced my trailer to avoid the trailer bs..

did my good deed yesterday and helped a fellow jetboater change his oil and plugs for the first time, unfortunately my laptop battery died so we couldn't read his hours,
today changed my oil and getting ready for summer!

I had coffee with my boat.

Took her fishin! And spent probably an hour cleaning pollen off of her.

Wasn't today but I recently did my LEDs! image.jpeg

Dropped the boat off to have some more audio stuff upgraded ;)

Changed oil and filter
Changed spark plugs
Checked my engine hours with the YDS thing... I am at 97.9 hours now (last year was 79-ish, so i guess i put about 18-20 hours on last year).. seems low, but i do mainly float around in a cove most of the time
Installed Amp (did speakers the other week)
Installed new ladder latch thing
Installed Blue Seas 7650 switch and ACR and 2nd battery (last weekend)
Installed new Yamaha cover for summer (easier to get on and off on the lift)

Still left to do: the EZ Locks, wash/wax and clean it, replace that sticky door trim in storage area and clean up all my wires from the battery and amp installs...

Then ready for the season to begin

I got the oil, oil filter and spark plugs changed. First time I've done it on this boat and it was extremely easy. Took a few minutes and got everything cleaned up from her summer slumber so I can get her waxed next weekend. Also took a few minutes to put together a wind blocker I've been thinking about doing since last fall. 2016-04-03 14.53.21.jpg 2016-04-03 14.53.51.jpg
It's made out of a plastic cutting board I purchased from a local restaurant supply place for $12 and vinyl and snaps from the local fabric store. I think I'll come back later and redo the vinyl to cover the entire board and make it look a little more finished, but this will do for now.

Here is the ski mirror I installed last week2016-04-03 14.57.05.jpg .

Finally, random pics...and no the Jeep is not the tow vehicle. It was just convenient for moving the boat around.

Pics of new cover[/QUOTE]

Holy cow @jlcj7 I just realized how faded my cover is! My new Bimini and bow cover should be done in a week but now I'm totally envious of your cover. I hope I can still find one when needed.

Dewinterized today:
1. Burned off fogging oil.
2. Leak checked new steering cables. I left the clean out tray with only four screws and pulled it on the water to get a VERY clean look at the starboard side then reinstalled fully in a nice cove with waterfall sounds, plus Def Leopard, Poison, Metallica and Tesla sounds too.
image.jpeg
3. Checked steering response with some high speed maneuvers :woot:
image.jpeg
4. Checked thrust vector spring tensions (start lifting at 2500 rpm)
5. Dunked all the pollen off the trailer. Woohoo.
6. Checked hot oil levels and added a little to starboard.
7. Practiced my stern-in docking and 303'd the seats.

8. Had one hell of a good time solo with my favorite hobby.

I really like that flagpole setup, where did you get it?

@DUSTOFF It is the Taylor Made set-up. You can find it online or usually at West Marine if you have money to burn. Not cheap, but worth it. I swapped out my American Flag for the Jetboaters Flag with the upcoming JB Cooper River Run to Charleston. Can't wait!

@Seadeals I really like your flag pole set up too. Since I moved my anchor light to the wake tower, that might be a good item to locate to the old light socket location.

I had a laundry list of things to get done on the boat this weekend, but ended up only getting the "supercharged" decal removed and the boat (mostly) waxed. I still need to wax about half the interior, but I ran out of time.:(

I put my lettering on...play on words for my boat and also my job as I am in the commercial aviation business

Also put in a Ram mount for my phone.

Waited 6 days for the 5200 to cure but I've got to get this done while I am motivated so I put in the SeaDek, came out great!
