haha, yes, you are right. I make that mistake all the time. between the Excursion, Expedition and the Exploder, I get them mixed up!@Glassman I think you are referring to an Excursion ....not an Expedition as they d not make diesel Expeditions
I believe you have gained two gears going from a 4L80 to a 6L80.I just bought a 2014 GMC Sierra SLE with the 5.3. I traded in a 2009 Sliverado LTZ with the 5.3, I was not impressed with the towing with the the 2009.
I am not sure what changed form 2009 to 2014 but the new truck pulls like a champ with the 5.3 and I would compare the 2003 1500HD 6.0 I had for 10 years.
Yeah but that wont fit in my garage...I usually keep my F-250's for 2 -2.5 years and when I get rid of them they usually have about 150,000 miles and I have never had a major problem with one. Nothing beats the way a F-250 tows
I saw your thread on this. Sorry to hear about that! At least you made it home safe first.... I did about 2200 miles I think.@RobA, it is not a SUV but my 2007 Sierra Denali (truck) made it to 136K before needing any major work. We towed 2500 miles round trip to Fort Lauderdale.
Yeah but that wont fit in my garage...
F-250's are Tuff enough to be left out in the cold...LOL
