Am I missing something? I lube them, spray them down with silicone, yet they still end up stuck in a year or two. Stopping at tractor supply tonight to grab a new one.

Maybe I should have said tongue jacks. The ramp looks cool though.

I pulled my stuck jack today and headed to tractor supply. They had an almost exact match for my 2015. I had to use the old pin though. The new jack had a larger diameter pin but also had a proper sized mount for the smaller pin. The new jack was $30.

Perhaps try a Fulton F2. They are expensive but are better made and have a lifetime warranty.

I've had four Fulton f2 trailer jacks now, two of them (I got used) both died (stripped the gears on one and tore the wheel off of the other). I can see the other one is headed to the graveyard soon (the cap is no long the same shape as the that of the opening it is meant to cover).

I didn't know about the life time warranty. I was going to simply take the parts I needed from the dead units to keep the others in working order. I swear by the Fulton f2 winches but once my last f2 trailer jack dies I will never buy another. The cheap ugly stock one worked just fine , I should have never fixed / replaced what was not broken.

I'm embarrassed to say I got mine from the local Harbor Freight Tools. When my OEM jack broke I needed a replacement fast and didn't have time to research the issue. I picked up this one for $29 expecting it to get me through the rest of the season at which time I would buy a good one. http://www.harborfreight.com/1500-lb-capacity-dual-wheel-swing-back-boat-trailer-jack-69779.html This has a 1500 pound capacity and has dual wheels making it easy to roll an empty trailer. I have actually had people at the ramp ask where I got it. Oddly enough, it has performed great for the last 3 seasons and I will be starting my 4th season with it shortly. All I do to maintain it is spray it with T-9 at the beginning of each season as I boat exclusively in salt water. There is no rust on this jack and If/when it fails I will buy another.

Heck @Gym , I wouldn't be embarrassed. In fact I think I am going to order one tonight! Looks like a great deal and I need a new jack.
