Possible cleat mounting hardware. Not much over in that area of the boat. Probably some left over hardware from the build that got moved around when you were boating that was wedged out of sight before. When I am doing Mods, I find all sorts of screws, nuts and bolts etc. left over from the build.

....would not be two (or three) concerned and would not get nutty over it!

I know many report extra parts in the bilge, etc.

However, for me, every time I find something like this I inevitably find that they fell off of something nearby and were not appropriately tightened. Check the cleat and all around--bet you find something missing. I went through my whole boat a month after delivery and tightened EVERYTHING (and put antiseize on most things).

bow rail mounting nut or for a cleat, the cleat nuts are very large, the rail nuts are much smaller, as tim said, check everything in that area last thing you want is somebody to pull on a rail and it pops out and bends or breaks,

.

Yep, go searching for a bolt not attached to anything. Finding a random bit is not that uncommon, but all three together? They were attached to something.

The perspective wasn’t great on the photo. They were big. Turns out it was a cleat nut. I had to go buy a wrench big enough and got it reattached and tightened down. It was a trick to get myself contorted to tighten down the nut. Glad I’m skinny!
