What do you use so your phone doesn’t sink?

I use a MotoX so if it does sink, I can easily and reasonably replace it without having to take out a loan. This also doubles as my replacement insurance, since that's another waste of money I can put towards the boat.

If I ever have to worry about losing my phone in the water due to something I'm doing, I also have a backup plan that consists of using common sense, and just... y'know... NOT doing silly things with my phone, if it's that important to me.

Maybe I should revert to an old flip phone ?

Good question. I don’t have an answer re floats but my daughter uses a round expandable button type thingy (not sure of the actual name) which definitely gives you a better grip than without it.
