Yamaha Boat,not fast enough??

That is hilarious.....thanks for pointing that out!!! Boat doesn't have MR-1.

But no point in replying to @Kyle Walker as he's not active.

When I was a mod on a dirt bike site, not closing loops on threads was a pet peeve of mine.

I really don't understand why people are so obsessed with wide open top speed. For me as long as I can get on plane quickly and cruse at 25-30 mph, I'm good

I suppose it could just be a measure of performance… or in my case I just Ike to go fast once in a while. Like you, I‘m mainly looking for the out of the hole launch, up onto plane, back down on the throttles and settle into a nice cruising speed.

My lack of top speed comes from the fact that I’m at 5000’ above MSL, and my density altitude is as high as 9-10,000’ and non adjusted impellers. When I test drove my boat at 750’ on a cool day it shot right up to 44mph as measured by the water wheel. At my home lake, I’m lucky to see 33-35 on the water wheel. But, I still love what speed I do have, just need to get my high altitude impellers sorted for more umphh.
