Ok, so with everything starting out I thought i should ask... I want to start a post on installing or build for a stereo.. Is there going to be a certain area for these kind of posts or are we going to use the general discussion area?

Yep...just go under General for now and we can add an electronics and audio/lighting later, right?

Use the @ symbol instead of the # and it will notify the guy you @ like @Cowboy Casey ...you should get an email notification of that!

I think we should be careful about compartmentalizing things too much. Important things might get lost. I'm a huge fan of the hashtag approach which is a big advantage of this site. Just sayin'....but a Stereo/Electronics forum might not be a bad idea.

Thanks @Mel, I don't use the new language enough yet, but I will get better, hopefully....

@Cowboy Casey , your not alone! I'm playing catch up too! I'm just a few days ahead...but I'm older and slower! So I needed a bigger head start!;)

x2...what she said. I agree with ALL of the above. Categories are good, but run the risk of becoming too compartmentalized. @Sachawittygal @Julian @txav8r @Cowboy Casey @Bruce

Crazy new typing language......

New fangled technology...

Speedling! Welcome aboard!

The @ symbol does alert the person it is directed at via email to let them know about your post. And...it fills in the name after you have entered the first three letters! Just hit enter after the name your looking for pops up in a box below your typing. It is hard on us old guys to catch on to modern web technology when we have been used to an outdated forum.
