Getting close to making a decision. Is there any seating arrangement on the AR210 that allows the port side passenger to face forward and not abeam?

Check with your dealer, but I think they can swap the bench for a port side chair....

I just got a new AR210 and when I told them I had to have a forward facing seat on the port side they oredered and installed another captains seat. Still has the bench seat hardware screws, but most people won't notice. The Yamaha seats were speedy and took almost a month to get here in oregon though.

Really, so it is possible. How much was the cost if you don't mind?

Frankly I think I got taken. The dealer charged $1800. Would have passed, but no captain seat for the wife was a deal breaker.

The new AR210 seat looks very similar in design and construction to the 19' boats, so I imagine pricing would be similar. Cost is around 1,130 for the 2017 AR195 captains chair and related parts, so expect something close to that plus labor they will extort from you. That being said you are going to lose some good room by going to twin captain's chairs. At first my wife wasn't liking not having a seat but now she loves to lounge out on the long bench seating plus it gives us storage underneath. The bench also allows for long and big ballast bags, if that's something you will use.

That's about what I would've guessed. It's a boat.
