I'm guessing you still have bees or bee residue inside the pee line. Take a couple feet of string trimmer line and run it in from the outlet to loosen things up. Then run on the hose in no wake mode to flush it out. If no luck you may have to take the line apart inside to clean it out. You may also need to use a compressor to push the stuff out.

Once you resolve this issue you can use golf tees to keep the nesters out.

thank you gym i will do that today and let you know how it goes really apreciate the tip i kind of have the feeling that there is stuff in there still i put some golf tees wile parked now.

Engine will not overheat simply because of the pee hole. Are you sure you were getting an overheat and the rpm's were limited? Any warning lights on the dash?

Yamaha played with the numbers so much on the lengths that I kept the models to the names for the most part. So yours is a 23' Limited (I changed it to that for you)

Buck buck is correct, the pee holes are there as visual indicators to cooling flow. Their being clogged wont cause an over heat. Something else, like a broken thermostat, ingested sand or a clogged strainer are likely you issue.

The easiest way to check is probably taking a look at the thermostat housing towards the back of the engine.
