not pictured is the top off cost at my destination. Limited to $75 per transaction I swiped twice for an another $150 in fuel.

the boat ate a lot more than what it cost the 10 of us to eat at the crab shack that day.

I would do it all again at the drop of a hat.

Got you beat by a smidge. I got $3.34 at Costco because my regular Kwik Trip was $3.55. Ended up with 44 gallons, and for the first time in a long time, there was only a 2-3 car wait, due to debut card processing being inoperable for some reason

My mother got the unfortunate news that tree roots had grown into her mound septic system and the trees had to come down. I went over armed with my chainsaw and her utility tractor. With in 45 minutes I knew that this project was going to take 3-4 days. I’m 45 years old so 3-4 days of hard labor isn’t like it used to be.

Luckily, the family of the previous owners and builders of my mothers home stopped by and saw us working on the trees. They offered to bring over some equipment the next day and at first I was hesitant. I really don’t know these people all that well and I’ve never worked with them on a project. I decided to take them up on the offer to come back the next day. I continued to work and 20 minutes later I see them show up with a small crew and heavy equipment.

My mother has always let them deer hunt on her 28 acre property ever since she bought it so they wanted to help in exchange for her generosity.

They made easy work of the trees. We got done in 2 hours what would have taken me DAYS. I’m so0o0o0o0o grateful for their help.

There‘s only one place in the next county where I can get non-ethanol gas and it’s about 25-30 minutes away. Too far to tow for each fill up. Unfortunately, I’m stuck using gas with ethanol in it 99% of the time.

Been using regular 87w/ethanol every time I fill a boat with no issues for over 25 years.

The Captain is seeing the Cat for her first time. Immediately said NO to the textiles on board as she threw them out into the cockpit. She quickly saw that there was no fabric under one of the engine hatches. I will be installing sound deadening insulation in there though.
