My mother has always let them deer hunt on her 28 acre property ever since she bought it so they wanted to help in exchange for her generosity.

@Cleveland Steamer , every once in a while something like this happens that restores my faith in humanity. Glad it happened to you on this task. As a 54 year old I know that my definition for hard labor has changed a lot as has the cost of such labor. Gone are the days when I could hire laborers for $10 an hour and the cost of heavy equipment rental can be a real eye opener.

Can you please tell me what you used for the walls and the flooring. Also did you insulate the walls? My neighbor is adding an addition and I wanted to give him an idea of what he could do. Thanks.

I notice you are all talking regular gas. So just wondering how many use non ethenol in their boats?

The area I'm in has a non-E station right in town, and it's about the same price as ethanol at home, usually within 10 cents. Holidays, that reverses, so all the interlopers to the area pay for wrecking everyone else's experience ?

On the water, gas is non-E, and seems to be around @Ronnie's price for regular at the pump.

The floors were done by Garage Experts of Eastern North Carolina
Its a 3 step epoxy floor with a lifetime guarantee.
The walls are from lowes
They are preprimed. I painted with a good quality outdoor house paint that is washable and mold resistant.
The insulation is 2 layers of the r9 sheets. Its perfect for a shop but not for a house.
So if it gives me a r15 value i am happy.
The overhead door is a fully insulated steel door that looks like wood.

Our new to us catamaran came with a few things of note…one of them is this pup plank.

It needs a bath. And a bag of Caribbean courtesy flags from her travels over the years.

The French flag looked backwards to me.

The biggest most expensive item I have returned to Costco for a full refund (almost $800 including sales tax). It is an oval 22’x12’ above ground pool that I had up for a little over a year. I am currently in the process of replacing it with a rectangular 24’x12’ pool and deck that surrounds it.

Reimbursement came from the trailer tire supplier for the tire installation on the warranty tires they sent. Probably the easiest warranty claim I will ever have.

Blurry picture because it's from a video.. Background to the photo below.
What an amazing end to the Summer. In total we had 9 people on the new to me 242. We had a brazilian bbq on the boat, picanha (steak), coxinhas, and garlic bread. Then later went to a restaurant and ordered seafood to the boat. Then we started playing salsa on the boat and we noticed 2 women were dancing to our music near their table. Haha! Ok let's go! We put the music up and got off on the dock and started dancing. We were inviting people from their tables to dance with us, people were coming down to hang out, and take shots. Even the dock hand was dancing with the girls! People having a good time, dancing, or just videoing the show. I wish we took a picture of when we had more people.

So that's the end of the Summer for me. I have to prepare the 2 boats for winter and in 10 days I'll be on a plane to Colombia. But I'm really thinking to skip winterizing the 242 and haul it down to Florida in December and stay with my dad. Also looking to stay 1 month in Brazil come February. Lot's of ambitions to pass the Winter! It would be amazing if I can do it all.
