I am Moving from Nashville to Marco Island Florida. I am looking for a reputable shipper to take my boat (2016 242) to Florida and was wondering if anyone has used/recommend a shipper? Also the trailer has only been used once since delivery and has been stored outside at a storage facility. Any recommendations on getting trailer ready for trip?

Congrats!!!

At least I hope someone con-graduates me when I hit the point in my life when I can’t be bothered to tow my own stuff lol.

If you are going to pay someone, your trailer condition won’t likely matter as they will likely just have ur boat and trailer set on their goose neck and haul it down there.

I used Uship from Chicago to Raleigh.

Perfect....that would make things easier...thx

I used UShip from NC to Ct, $700. and would and probably will again when we move to Fla.. How they want to tow will depend on who you hire, the company I hired (Wheelaholic) towed my trailer so it had to be roadworthy.

I’ve started getting some quotes from UShip...so far all have been for towing trailer.....my only concern is the trailer. It was used for delivery and has been parked for 3 years outside in storage lot. I was going to find someone to check the trailer prior to move. Is there anything I should be concerned about a trailer that has set for 3 years?

Check the tires for dry rot. Make sure you have a spare and make sure that the bearings are greased well.

See if I can bump this up. I need a Yamaha 222 FSH Sport transported from Peninsula, OH to Alabaster, AL
Buckeye Powersports just outside Macedonia?
