Differences between the Newer 4 Cycle Yamaha Jet Boats

This post focuses on the differences between the various model years. It includes as many differences as I can come up with, but isn't exhaustive. I must admit that the changes in the last few years aren't covered as well. If you have a newer model and want to update it for those changes, download it and make your additions/changes and reupload it in this thread.

From 2013 to 2014 212SS..........other than the color, they changed the grip handles in the cabin (no longer all chrome) and added the speakers on the swim step.

In looking at the file @Julian, there are some subtle changes that would be great to have listed. But with the current layout, I am not sure how to alter the file to reflect it. Changes that are significant but subtle are as follows.
Cooler is included in the late model 230/232 line but was built in under a seat as a fixed an permanent cooler that could not be removed. The 240/242 series included a hard rollaboard cooler that could be removed. Also, I notice in the 2010 240/242 that the bow cupholders are just at the seatbottom height and in the aft corner of the seating in the bow. In a subsequent year, they added two cupholders to the front of the bow seating on the floor by the rumble seats I presume. I have them in my 2012. Worthless for someone that doesn't employ the bow rumble seats, and in the way of walking and anchoring...but nonetheless, they are a revision. Also, I don't know if the 2010 240/242 included the exhaust line resonator from the beginning or if it was added later in the lifecycle to that line, it is in the 2012. Also TDE, Thrust Directional Enhancement, was added in 2012 to that line I believe.

I know our desire would be to make the features file as extensive and accurate as possilbe, any ideas on how to include some of these less than insignificant changes?

Looks like we need to simply add some columns. Not sure we want to get as detailed as cup holder location as it might get a little big. But I'd think we should add:

Cooler Type/location
TDE: Yes/No
Resonator?

Was does the exhaust line resonator do....just make a nice noise? Is there a real purpose, or is it like me putting playing cards on my bicycle spokes?

I think the resonator actually muffles, but don't get me to lying!

yes, playing cards on bicycle spokes.....I like ole' school! Its amazing the sound difference in my 212X compared to my previous SX230. LOVE IT!

They added 6" to the 2015s....that image is my ESTIMATE of scale....by no means "to scale"

Fantastic! This is exactly what I was looking for - shopping for a (used) boat and new to the brand, it's almost impossible to narrow down which ones I should be looking at without a list like this. (Yeah, go see a few - but after you've seen 3 or 4, the differences run together and then there are the subtle differences that someone new might not spot or be aware of unless seeing both side by side.
