10 Hour's and Motor issues???

So... although new to forum...not new to the sport and know a significant motor issue when it happens.

My 2019, 215ID, suddenly generated a disturbing vibration from the Starboard motor and subsequent to it, the Portside motor, lost power and both shut off.

After catching my breath and some seriously concerning looks from my wife, I refired the engines and with twin check engine lights...I crawled it back home.

After dropping it off at the dealership...I got the standard ..."we've never heard of such a thing happening"....

Any help from my new JetBoat family appreciated.

Sorry to hear that ... I'm sure it'll help if you describe how you were riding the boat immediately before the issue occurred. Also, where are you located?

Hopefully it isnt something critical....hard to imagine both engines would have issues simultaneously....that would point more to gas issues or something common to both engines.

I agree....and had the same suspicions. The fact that I always maintain preservative in the fuel, rules that out. I also had an initial drop in RPM and was off an average of 1K RPM and same with temp's....

The dealership stated that a Rotax rep has been contacted and engine telemetry has been requested and being reviewed....

Also....note the hour meter....one indicates 11 and the other 9
