This ok? Seems low. I just replace the 2.5, change filter, run it and then check dip?

I thought I was getting 5.5-5.75 quarts for 2 engines, so its a little low but not far off. Did you feel around in the oil reservoir for the hole to get further down?

I actually did @Julian . Funny you say that because I was gently probing as it was sucking the last bit and found the hole and it actually pulled out quite a bit more. In total it was about 5 quarts for both engines. Every check I have done whether cold or immediately after running has been very low on the stick (below low). I feel like I should add a bit to each but not sure how much to add and when to check.

Low on the stick is ok (cold).....actually where you want it. Fill it too much and you will be buying new (expensive) air filters!
