Thank you for the heads up! Is there a way to check this in the Fantasy Football website, or do I need to google each player and figure out if they are eligible to play tonight?

Yes, you can check all player status on our fantasy football league website. Just log into the league and go to your team. If there is breaking news or player updates look for the symbols by your players name like below. For instance, you wouldn't want to start Bell this week see the "SUS" by his name. Also, you can simply click on your player to see any other news that could be important.

My first time going through this as well. Really looking forward to it. Looking to be in the low 60's around here this weekend, so might be home actually watching some games. Or... maybe a long sleeve shirt and good case of suck it up and get on the boat. Not that many weekends left in the season in our area (Chicago). Thank heaven for DVR....

We have been in the 60s and low 70s for two weeks and so now that we are climbing back into the upper 80s and low 90s I'm trying to get out a couple more times. You nailed it with DVR...I can't stand to watch a game in real time anymore.

One more stupid question, what happens when my Defense team has a bye?

You will need to either drop that defense and pick up another one or drop a player and pick up a defense. You are aloud "X" number of spots on your team and how you want to fill those spots is up to you. Most folks will carry a couple of players for each position so that they can cover bye weeks. Others will just go with the waiver wire when they need a fill in. Just don't drop one of your stud players for a defense even if that stud is on a bye.

Since I am on a roll today with stupid questions. Why do we all have different "Waiver" numbers?

I'm pretty sure it's backwards of how we drafted. As in, I drafted in the 8 spot so my waiver number is 3. What that means is that if 3 of us want the same player and your waiver number was 2 and someone else had a 4 and someone had a 6 then the person with the lowest waiver number will get that player. If no one wants that player, except you, then it doesn't matter. Once you pick a person off waivers then your waiver number goes up one...I think?? That way the same person doesn't get the pick of the litter all the time. You can also make trades with other team owners if you want. Say you have two players with the same bye week but you really only need one of those guys. If you wanted to you could make a trade with another owner for someone that could maybe make your team better.

@Volffas ... I noticed that you still have Bell in your lineup tonight. If you don't move him to the bench then you will not get to replace him after the fact. You can leave it blank if you want but if you start him then you will get a "O" for the position. Just giving you a heads up.

Well damn. I moved him to the bench earlier today, but apparently I didn't hit the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the screen. Just got home to see that he is showing playing right now and I can't change him out. Oh well. Thank you for trying to tell me. I'll get the hang of this.

I've got Tom Brady playing. 172 yards and 2 touchdowns so far. Oh, and as mentioned above, I am playing Bell even though he is suspended! Maybe I'm only doing that to spot you other guys some points just so the beatdown doesn't look so bad this week! Yeah right, who am I kidding, it was just plain stupidity that I am playing him. But it sure does make it sound better when I trash talk and say I'm spotting points, so that is going to be my official story!
