The season of outdoor shows is starting here. First up is

Ultimate Fishing Show Home - Ultimate Fishing Show - Detroit (showspan.com) January 11-14, 2024

Looks like Wonderland Marine will be there so I am assuming some FSH. Here is the list of boats. Floor Plan - Ultimate Fishing Show - Detroit (showspan.com)

I am going will be there all day Friday or Saturday.

Thats a lot of boats man! So besides looking longingly at the 252 FSH anything on your list ? Two full days at the show is a long time.

Will just be going one day or the other. Stopped by the Credit Union today, also inquired about rates. Not a big fan of where they are at right now on a 15yr.

Pretty much what I am doing as well, although stupid sometimes creeps up on me.....

Sometimes those show deals are pretty sweet!

Here’s to alcohol, stupid decisions and good times! Some of the best times of my life!

Check out Brads cut plugs. Maybe land some Great Lakes salmon or lakers.

Ran into Ryan today at the Ultimate Fishing Show. @Wonderland Marine They had a 2023 255 FSH, attractively priced and a 2024 FSH as well as 255X 222X and 190 FSH. Honestly the 222 FSH is awesome.

also, Ryan indicated that they, Yamaha, for a short period of time will add an addtional 2 yrs of warranty on top of the 1 for no charge, so you get 3 yrs Warranty from day of the purchase which is nice.

Excellent report! Love all the pics!

I see the 222 FSH has got some proper deck drains too!

The 222 fsh has a lot of real estate for a MFD… I’m sure that 222 FSH would be a rocket with its 400 hp! The three years of warranty is a pretty sweet deal! One should be able to pile on enough hours inside of three years to expose any issues that would be covered by that warranty. Has the 1.9L engines which require 86 octane fuel ( pretty sure on that) and has the four bladed impellers.. you didn’t happen to get a pick of those did you? Or maybe too busy working a deal to put yourself in one of those boats?

Is the $1195 Vantage ceramic coating included in that price along with the $1000 cover? If so those are some pretty good incentives! I got the Vantage on my boat when I bought it. Great support from Vantage as well.

Do you think the 222 FSH live well is too small to keep say a 20” walleye alive in? How about the aft starboard live well on the 255? It looks bigger than the 222???

Live well was big enough. Also couldn't get under them since the walkway was at swim platform level

As an aside, discussed with ryan towing from the console tower. On the 222FSH it is mounted to the console with backing plates. On the 252/255 it is mounted to the floor.

Was the consensus that towing from the tower was okay on the 222, but not the 255?

Right on… was the live well big enough on both or just the 255?

I figured you’d want to get a look..

252 and 255
