Hey all, new to the forum. I've had my boat almost 2 years now and have done alot of work. Now that I'm finally done with sound upgrades I noticed my bilge isn't pumping. I tried the manual switch and filled it with water...nothing. any ideas?

Two other things...
How do you go about cleaning the white staining on the bimini? I'm fresh water so it's not salt idk what it is.

Anyone noticed areas on the interior fiberglass that just have a crappy finish and has found a way to put a new gloss coat of white over them?

Did you check the fuses and or ckt breakers for the bilge pump? Did you pull the bilge pump off it’s base and check for debris?

I assume the little black buttons under the helm switches are the breakers. They didn't seem to be popped out. The switch also lights up when switched on. There's on other fuse to check I believe by the battery which I'll try today.

How difficult is it to get the pump off the bade plate?

Yes those are the breakers and they’re under a rubber boot. Did you give it a push?

The switch illuminating lets you know power is being supplied to that device. However, you need to check for voltage at the plug for the bilge pump to assure you’ve got power there.

There is usually a fuse near the battery for the automatic side of the bilge pump and it will be marked. It is a stand alone fuse holder attached to a bulkhead.

There should be two tabs on the side of the bilge pump that get pressed in to release the bilge pump from its base. The base is attached with a couple of small screws. Push in the tabs and gently rock the upper part to release it from the base.

You are the man thanks for all the info. Turned out that there was a loose connector from when my sound guy installed the new system and that's all it was

Actually tucked up in a wire loom in the engine bay. Thanks so much!
