if someone can refer me to a sticky or previous post where this has been addressed, I would be grateful. Otherwise, maybe we can start it here.

My 2018 242 limited S e-series will not sync at full throttle. With both throttles engaged, I have to bring the port engine lever back nearly an inch below the starboard in order to get the engines harmonized. Is there an adjustment I can look at or is this worth a trip to the dealership?

For those throttles which are just 5v ref potentiometers to be that far off something may not be quite right. Check that the reverse gates are adjusted properly and that nothing is caught in the intakes. Do a wot run and note the rpms of each engine. Then do what @Julian suggested and do a Wot run. If max rpm are significantly different (greater 150 rpm delta) in run one than run two or from each other it is time to head to the dealer.

Keep us updated.

I will do that and note the variances, however, Even with the sync mode engaged, the engines will not harmonize. It’s my understanding that even without the sync mode engaged the engines are supposed to marry their rpm if the throttles are close to each other.
Gates are perfect. Intakes are clear. I’m definitely thinking there is an electronic setting that is not quite right.

I've wondered if that was a feature because mine seem to do that also - almost makes the single lever mode unnecessary since the dual throttles are so easy to use. As far as not syncing at full throttle I've noticed that also, and backing off a bit syncs them right up. We can empty our fuel tanks in a couple of hours at full throttle so I don't run there for long!

You described my boat exactly so it must be a design parameter that’s just par for the course.

Not to throw another wrench in it...... when running WOT, do any of you have extra forward movement in the throttles that doesn't increase rpms? The last 3/4-1" of throttle does nothing on my 2017. If all the way forward I can pull the throttle back at least an inch before the rpms start to decrease and if accelerating rpms don't increase after that point either.

Not an E-Series, but my '17 AR190 has the "null zone" up at the WOT end of the range. easy 3/4-1" of movement on the throttle with no discernible change in engine speed.
