Again I ask, anyone want the old style board back?

I recall clicking on a link at the top that led to "active" topics (I may be recalling the link name incorrectly). This led to a bunch of different posts from perhaps different "topics" but the posts were "active" and ran one after the other. You could quickly glance at the front page and see what posts were trending. Now? Click on the site and you are limited to "new posts" or "post a thread." And you can't locate any posys you saw yesterday without some massive digging around. Where can I find a link to "active" topics? Sometimes change is not good! Arghhhhhh.

The old "Active Topics" button is the same as the "New Posts" link with one exception. The new posts link filters out posts you have read already. In the upper left corner you can see a filter for "Show Only: Unread X". Click that X and you'll have the same view as "Active Topics".

I will look into if there is a way to put "Active Topics" back on the main menu bar. Like the lightening bolt on the mobile view.

I think simply the "What's New" button on its own gives the same list....just only 10 results for posts....I've been digging to see if that can be increased.

OK, I have increased the post count for the "What's New" button to 25 to match the way the "Active Topics" button worked in the last version. So now the only difference is it also gives you new profile posts at the bottom.

We aim to please! I wanted that to work the way it used to, just took me some time to figure out where they'd moved the function to. There is a whole new "widget" system with the forum that makes it much easier to adjust things, just need to know how/what to adjust!

Keep the suggestions coming and we'll do our best to fulfill them!

In case you are wondering what he's talking about, there is a Style button in the lower left corner that has a new "Wide" style that is good for those working on large screens - it uses more available space. Eventually I plan to come up with a dark style also.....that will take some time, or some money! LOL

OMG......I need all the thumbs up on this one. I view almost exclusively on a wide screen and the padding on the edges of the board was somewhat agitating. This is so much better! w00t w00t!
