Announcing Event Information User Groups

We have so many great gatherings happening that it is becoming hard to keep up with all of them. After reading I wish I had known about ... so many times. We decided to create a way to alert members to announcements about events in their area. We have added a number of Event Groups for specific gatherings and geographic areas. You can join them by going to https://jetboaters.net/account/preferences and selecting the user groups for areas where you might be interested in participating in future events. After joining the groups you will receive tag alerts from the organizers of future events in your area.

The current list of groups was assembled from a list of last years most commented on gatherings. We are happy to add additional groups for other regions. I certainly want to add one or more groups for the Florida area. So please keep an eye open for the addition of additional groups.

@Jet downunder here is how you join various usergroups.....and here is a list of the current ones.....mostly regional gather groups, but also the infamous NSFW group (enter at your own risk!)

@Bruce Please add a Central Florida Group. We are getting bigger and doing more meet ups over here. We are boating on both coasts and in between. This would encompass the Silver Glen Springs, Bird Island, Egmont Key, Disappearing Island, and other spots that we meet at frequently.

Quite a few of the members visit and I would really like to get a meeting together as we have a number of local on-the-water bars for us to enjoy and meet at.
