Thought about that but it is a long skinny reach at an awkward angleIn the past in other boats I have found screws that would fit with washers and bolts with locktite so I wouldn't have to do it again as long as you can get your hand up there from the inside to tighten the bolts.

Newer SXs have it bolted through cap from factory. I have taken these braces out in my SX190 when I installed a tower, but then installed them back in for the new owner as he liked the flexibility of being with / without the tower (which had harness plugs), to fit in his garage.View attachment 42243 Anyone had success fixing this issue? How would be best way to fix?
this is what i did on mine, stainless machine phillip bolt with stainless nylocks with a finder washer. pita to put in but never loose again.I'd go for the bolt/big washer/locknut solution....will be a pain to get up in there, but won't have to do it ever again!
