AR250 guys, has anyone ever looked at putting a fresh water tank in one of the rear storage compartment? Too small? Looks like it would be a good place

Seems silly - plenty of room at the factory location.

Well, except that this way you don't have to drill a hole for the water hose to go tru, easy to fill the tank with fresh water vs drilling another hole for another hose or opening the engine bay every time, and the tank and hose would be together behind that cushion. Only need to run the wires to the battery, not other holes.

If it was my boat, I'd prefer to keep those storage areas for items I'd want to get my hands on often - fenders, lines, smaller tubes, shoes, snokels etc. I'd want my shower equipment buried out of sight and invisible.

Drilling holes sure is scary when you first start doing it....but once you get comfortable with it, its a breeze. I've drilled so many big holes in my boats over the years that when I am working on a project on the boat in the driveway and the phone rings for me, my wife used to tell the caller "sorry, Julian is unavailable, he's out drilling holes in the boat"

why would yu have to open the engine bay every time? make no sense at all, yes i have a 252se, the only time i open the hatch is to check oil level

Hell going aftermarket you could go bigger tank than factory. Fill that thing up every few years lol

To fill the tank except if you want to drill another hole to fill it + one for the hose bringing the water out of the tank to the shower + one for the electrical wires. How do you fill the one you have on the 252se?

you fill it with a port in the clean out hatch. Hose is by the stereo control on the aft

This is a 275...but same location for shower fill on the 250s:
