Louisville has a pretty good job market. Commute times are pretty low as well.
You must be tired of getting speeding tickets and reckless driving for over 80 mph. I get pulled over every time I drive through that state lol.
LOLPlenty of tech jobs in the DC area but the commute can be horrible, cost of living is high, and you may not agree with the politics. On the plus side other than number of jobs is there is a lot of water if you're willing to deal with brackish environments and living in Maryland.
Rereading this I am not doing a good job selling it.

If you decide to look at this area look on the west side of lake Norman, I77 on the east side is a nightmare commute. I’m in Denver it’s a 30 min drive to the air port with no traffic. That’s from the north part of Denver.
