Potentially looking to relocate, currently in central VA. Looking for recommendations on best tech areas that provide access to live at lake. Good schools, less than an hour commute etc.. Preferably East of the Mississippi River. If you're hiring Quality, Release / Change Management Leadership PM me.

Louisville has a pretty good job market. Commute times are pretty low as well.

This same subject came up awhile back and there was a pretty big consensus that Knoxville was an awesome place to live.

You must be tired of getting speeding tickets and reckless driving for over 80 mph. I get pulled over every time I drive through that state lol.

Charlotte NC is booming but I think the drive from lake Norman is going to get horrible over the coming years.

Alpharetta, GA with Lake Lanier close by. Lots of tech work.

I've been keeping an eye on Charlotte, it's on the list.

Plenty of tech jobs in the DC area but the commute can be horrible, cost of living is high, and you may not agree with the politics. On the plus side other than number of jobs is there is a lot of water if you're willing to deal with brackish environments and living in Maryland.

Rereading this I am not doing a good job selling it. ?

If you decide to look at this area look on the west side of lake Norman, I77 on the east side is a nightmare commute. I’m in Denver it’s a 30 min drive to the air port with no traffic. That’s from the north part of Denver.
