Best way to cut a square hole in Fiberglass?

Guys could anyone tell me what is the right/best tool I should use to cut a square hole for a dual usb charger plus 12V inflatable outlet in the fiberglass? Not doing this on the dash but rather somewhere in the passenger glove box area. I have a 2018 AR210. This is what I am trying to install :-

For cuts like that I use a Dewalt hole cut out tool....and run a wet/dry vac the whole time while cutting to reduce the mess it makes!

I just cut in a new helm storage door using a Ryobi multi tool using the half rounded saw blade. I taped a metal ruler as a guide to ensure a straight line.

These are the two tools mentioned, however you can get them in almost any brand in case you want to match to tools/batteries you already have.

That being said, if you're just trying to do a dual-USB port, I'd recommend simplifying your life and just getting one that needs a round hole. Otherwise if you're set on the one you have, I'd probably just drill a round hole and then file it out to square - both of those will be hard to control for a small precise square in a difficult location. Any of these products would do you well, and you would only need to deal with a hole saw bit.

Actually, @isitsummeryet - I just looked at the product you linked. That does not need a square hole, it needs 4 round holes in the right space.

If you are dead set on something with those components, I'd consider something from a more reputable company. There are a few reviews there about it crapping out on people.

I chose this one because I couldn't find anything else with an on/off switch. I was afraid of the parasitic amp draw.

I have 2 of these installed for 2 years...working great! And much easier to install!

If you don’t want to buy any new tools; the best/cheapway to get a square hole, is to drill 1/4” holes in the 4 corners of your cutout. Then insert a standard jig saw blade in the holes, and connect the dots.

I've used this to cut in two 6x9 speaker holes and a blue sea Switch Panel....a jig saw would work as well.

Please be careful with the router. That thing can mess up a cut in a heart beat if you don’t go slow. Great tool but can be scary. Multi tool is a little more forgiving.

I would first cut a circle hole that's diameter is the same as the side of your square. Then use a jigsaw to create the corners.

So, the piece you bought doesnt take a square hole... it takes 4 circular holes. Look at the picture of the back.
