If Richard is still running things for the Bahamas Tourism you should have a great time. We went with them on our maiden voyage in 2011.

man I chose June 25~July 1... but I may have to make changes with the trip schedule for $300 fuel credit :)

Don't be surprised but that $300 will only buy you a full tank of gas (assuming 50 gallon tank) plus maybe a little more, still a nice help with the trip expenses. Gas is Bimini is typically $2.50 more than what you will pay in Florida, i.e. $2.5o gas in Florida = $5.00 gas in Bimini, http://www.explorercharts.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=56&Itemid=53

That $300 fuel credit offer has been around for a while. The current travel by dates are July 1st, 2016 - October 31st, 2017.

In the past Bimini Sands has chosen not to participate in that program but has offered our JetBoaters group discounted rates that more than made up for it.

I have asked the new management if they plan to participate.

Going over on a Thursday coming back that Sunday, weather cooperating. Planning on making a lean-to using the tower to cover the bow and sleeping there. Taking the inside of a small backpacking tent I have in case of mosquitos.
Looking forward to hearing the dates for the forum trip and hopefully going along also.

So here is the deal on the $300 fuel credit, it is only available at resorts that charge and forward a 7.5% fee to the Out Islands Promotion Board. Bimini Sands charges 7.5% vat plus 7.5% "resort". I am going to look into this further but I believe he places offering the fuel credit are charging 22.5% in taxes and fees. So if you stayed at one of those resorts for 5 nights at $300 in charges per night for lodging and slip costs that 7.5% would be an additional $112.50.
