This game was brought up in another thread but I can't remember where. Anyway I ordered the entire set off Amazon Monday. I bought the original, plus 1-4 add on's seperatly for a total price of $65. I opened yesterday and started reading through the black cards and randomly answering the questions with the white cards and I have to tell you I was rolling on the floor! I had to keep it quiet too because I bought this as a surprise for my wife for this weekend. We are having a get together this Saturday and wanted the cards for the party.

Anyway, if you want a good party game I don't think you can go wrong with this one. Also, you can download the cards for free from their website, but I feel they deserve the money for such a great game.

I paid $10 last November and all through December they sent all kinds of things, game cards and other "mystery" stuff to the house every day!
Great fun!

We actually use the table on the boat to play this. I've had 8 playing comfortably in the cabin area. It's definitely a great game, but not for people who are sensitive with any type of politics or race.

So here's my question..... Would this be safe for a 15 yr old boy to play with us?

Well, ummmm.... Is their a family version maybe then???

Cards against humanity is a spinoff of Apples to Apples. It's basically the same game with twisted humor. I would look into that if you want a family safe game...

I'm with you. I have 14 and 15 year old girls. My plan is to play once with adults and then make the call depending on how raunchy it gets.

My advice would be keep this game "Adult Only."

It's not just the words, but the ideas. Even though they "seem" mature, 14 and 15 year old kids shouldn't see and hear that kind of thing from their parents. There still need to be established boundaries. Consider the message you're sending.

Just my 2 cents.

(Personally, I think the game is funny as heck but I won't even have it on my game shelf until the youngest one is an adult.)

Now, if you're after other games (something beyond the Wal-Mart / Parker Brothers offerings), there's a great site called boardgamegeek.com that will lead you down a rabbit hole of money spending that you wouldn't believe.

Yeah..... probably not for The Boy....He can learn that stuff from his football team and cheerleaders! Maybe we will just swim more at the lake! :winkingthumbsup"

Played this at our annual family get together.
Laughed until my sides ached!
Never heard my mother ( almost 80!) say such hilarious stuff.
Highly recommend this game to anyone, but the sensitive among us beware!

Well maybe in some states but I am sure there are laws against that sort of thing. :D Sorry for my twisted sense of humor.

Not if they're a respectable 15Yr old that you want to keep that way. . . . . I would definitely say this is for mature audiences only.
