One of the coolest things I did in my AF career was take a mission ride on a KC-10 while deployed in 2002. We refueled all kinds of AF and Navy planes, and got "shot at" by some clowns on the ground, we were very high and there was no chance of them hitting the formation, the F-16's that were in our formation took off, and said "those guys will never do that again" when they returned...
