Right on! I bet you were sore, that’s about a 110 mile round trip!

I’ll be heading that way this year and really wanted to make that run, but, the eight mile section of the river from Willow Creek Marina to Hoover Dam has some restrictions, all year long Sunday and Monday its is closed to powered boats, from Labor Day to Memorial Day, Tuesday through Saturday boats are limited to 65 hp, Memorial Day to Labor Day Tuesday through Saturday there are no restrictions. I’ll be going there before Memorial Day so I won’t be able to make that part of the run, but, I’ll be running up and back from Katherines Landing to Willow Creek at least once and then maybe trailering from Bullhead City to Willow Creek and put in there and fish down from there.. I hope to get into a lot of stripers, not strippers, stripers.

I might make another trip down there this year so I can make that run, and to scope out areas on Lake Powell north of Bullfrog Marina for next years house boating trip.
