so after watching the video on the SX192 they say to rev the engine when the water is off to expel any water left in exhaust.. I've rebuilt multiple motors and have always been on the side of not Revving the motor out of the water... seen things break when there isn't a proper load on the motor? Can anyone advise one way or the other? The couple times I take it out I flushed it but never revved the motor out ..

Certainly not rev to redline....more around 2-4K or so. It's not good for water to sit in the muffler box. They also recommend this after use.

Agree with Scokill....not a full throttle rev....I go to roughly 3-4k two to four times.

I've stopped reving mine after reading some things on here... Specifically something Cobra Jet Steering LLC mentioned
