So I assume the intent is to NOT go through all the way and pack some silicone or 4200 in the hole before putting a screw in? I appreciate the insight!
In addition to packing the hole with 4200, I’d put it on the screw itself and I’d bed the thing you are attaching in 4200 as well, then wipe off the excess.
Drilled and bottom tapped stainless #10 installed with neverseize.
Above 45mph, the transducers have trouble getting a good lock on the bottom. I am install the spray guards to see if they help.
