Hi All,
New (to me) 2013 Yamaha AR190 owner.
Based in the Woodlands, Texas - just north of Houston.
Mainly boat at Lake Conroe, but looking to try out the Trinity River (near Riverside) and will tow to Canyon Lake in late July as well.
Kids prefer tubing at the moment, but have skiied a few years ago and my oldest (11) likes kneeboarding also.
After purchase, took it to a Yamaha dealer to transfer the warranty and had them do a once over on the boat also. It had about 35 hours on the engine and all looked good! Impeller may have some slight damage, but it seems to still have plenty of get up and go so I'm leaving it alone for now.
Biggest challenge was getting the boat in the garage (7' entry), but thanks to some posts, I knew to drop the tongue as low as I could and I can clear ok. The other thing that helped is I just recently had an expoxy coating put on the garage floor. The team ground down the entry a little more which gave me another 1/2 inch clearance when all was said and done. I should get an electric tow dolly I bough on Craigslist next week which I'm hoping makes putting the boat away even easier as my driveway is pretty tight.
Happy boating all and looking forward to learning/contributing more in the future.
