Hi guys (and gals)!! I almost feel like I should be posting in Welcome Aboard because it has been so long since I've been on the board. I started lurking again about a week ago and now I'm getting the bug back. ;)
We've done a lot of work on our boat in the last two years, including replacing the upholstery and replacing one engine that died. Getting 10 years out of both the engines and the upholstery in salt water and stored outdoors with just the fabric cover, I feel like we got our money's worth out of both. Now if that other engine can hang in there....
In the meantime, the Chaos Cubed has been in rehab on and off the last year or so. Still need to do one more pass with compounding wax and then polish her up, and clean/detail/wax fiberglass in interior areas (except the floor....WHOOOOPS), and she will be almost all the way back up to snuff. Mark even changed the oil and filters himself for the first time, and fixed a leak on the gas line going into the engine compartment where the clamp was failing. The only thing I have remaining is to replace or dip the pseudo wood panels from the dash - they are trashed. More research to do on this board!
I've missed you guys - I know I see some of you on the FB page, but thought I'd say hello here as well. Some fun pics from our first outing of 2020, social distancing on the Wando River in Mount Pleasant, SC....

I was thinking about starting a thread just like that.... :) Great time to do a local trip! Is Andy S still around? He was always up for a trip. :)

Yup @Andy S is still around....although he has a Cobolt now....we won't give him too much crap for that! LOL (he's had it for a WHILE)

:Welcome: Back! Boat looks fine to me. Certainly serviceable. Can't wait to get back on the water myself--I'm jealous!

Good to have you back!

Hey @Stacey in SC , yep still here and it is good to see you back. @Jilian was nice enough to let me stay even though I have migrated to a Cobalt. I am always open to a trip, so would @robert843.

Roger that, Andy. Let’s start working on it. No better way to socially distance!

We got the same model
