Hey guys was wondering if anybody had replaced the old how clamps that rust in the engine compartment . Was think abt doing this
 
And they are good to spray down with your favorite silicone spray (avoiding that debate).
 
It's certainly an item I would tell you to look at closely being in FL, we've had a few member find clamps rusted off

and not just the engine compartment, pull the cleanout hatch cover and look at the clamps on the cleanout tubes and exhaust fitting at the hull
 
Had one break, on my exhaust outlet. Just replaced it. Gonna check/replace any of them that look bad. Maybe keep them sprayed with an anti corrosion spray from now on.
